I always have a Plan “B’’

I should be leaving Tombstone in the morning. Before I leave town, I'll top up my fuel tank and hope the wind continues to be a tailwind until I get to where I'm going.

I'm not sure where I will spend the night. I may overnight at the Walmart parking lot in Deming, New Mexico, or continue on the road to City of Rocks State Park, another 25 or 30 miles north of Deming.

I'll stop at Walmart either way to pick up a few supplies and probably make up my mind when I get there where I want to spend the night. I've spent many a night at the Walmart parking lot in Deming, New Mexico. In fact, the last time I stayed there was when my camper's inverter quit inverting, and I had to walk across the street to a Harbor Freight store and buy a new inverter, which, by the way, is working just fine.

Speaking of inverters, I have a spare one back in Denver. It’s a high-quality one that costs several times as much as the Harbor Freight one. So I will probably put that one in the camper and keep the Harbor Freight one as a spare because the old one is a lot quieter than the inexpensive one.

My stay at Tombstone this time has been windy. The winds are okay in the morning and late afternoon, but anytime between 10 AM and 5 PM, doing anything outside is no fun unless you enjoy flying large, sturdy kites.

A flock of horses and their unsteady riders mosey aimlessly through the campground. Contributing to the ambience of a town like Tombstone.

I should be somewhere else, but I’m not; nonetheless, I’m always where I want to be, even if it’s where I am.
