Yet another day when I have absolutely nothing to write about.

It was another cloudy, rainy day, which meant that I didn't do much of anything. I don't have anything to write about in my blog, so there's no sense wasting my time or yours writing or reading a bunch of mindless drivel when I have virtually nothing of interest to talk about.

You would think that since I have nothing to talk about, I wouldn't even write a blog post today, except that if I ever started doing that, I might as well stop writing my blog entirely because I seldom have anything interesting to talk about. And as I've said many times, there's nothing unique or interesting about my life except that I live in a teeny tiny house with wheels, and that in itself is not very interesting.

In fact, you could say the only thing even semi-interesting about my life is that in a matter of minutes, I can be packed up and heading for a different place. That place might be the next town or another state, and sometimes, I won't even know where that will be until I get there. I suppose some folks might find that interesting.

But it doesn't seem interesting to me; It’s more like a challenge, and I believe that challenge is good for some folks, especially us old geezers who get so set in our ways. It’s impossible to get us to do anything slightly different from how we do things every day. You can call it a rut, a routine, a schedule, or downright laziness, but whatever you call it, we senior citizens tend to have it. I have to fight it myself, so I sometimes use wind or rain as excuses for not going somewhere more interesting where I could have something to write about.

But what can you do when you've been somewhere too long, and you're too lazy to move on to somewhere with more interesting things to do? And you have a blog post to write every day even though you have absolutely nothing of interest to say? It looks like all there is to do is apologize for wasting everyone’s time and try to do better tomorrow.

Now, here’s a grandma that the grandkids better listen to!

With the black hat and brocade vest, this guy reminds me of the TV cowboy show Maverick, starring James Garner. Even though Maverick was a gambler, not a cowboy, I always liked that show.

This is a commercial balloon; you pay to go up In it. I don’t like hot air balloons; I would pay to stay on the ground.
