A busy morning

I went to Walmart this morning for groceries and stopped at Wells Fargo Bank to take care of some business. I also paid a property tax bill on some Tombstone property. Putting forth that much mental effort required me to relax for the rest of the day, so other than walking around and taking a few pictures, nothing was accomplished for the rest of the day.

I'm not sure when I'm going to Quartzsite. I can go anytime, I guess I'll wait till I wake up one morning and feel like leaving. The VFW boondocking area is pleasant since I’m in no hurry to leave, but I always look forward to wherever I'm going.

Speaking of where I'm going, the long-range weather forecast shows some very cold weather coming to the Western area and dropping down very low into Texas. Some of that is going to spill over into the southern Arizona area, and it looks like maybe the southwestern corner of Arizona may be the only area spared. But even that is iffy. So I'm not sure where I will go to stay warm because other than South Florida, it looks like the whole country is going to be pretty cold.

One thing is for sure: I'm not going to worry about it, especially a weather prediction that far away. When it gets closer, I will have to decide if I want to stay in the general area of Quartzsite or go someplace else. As long as I stay near the Saguaro cactus, it may get chilly, but I’ll be okay. But if you can look outside without seeing a Saguaro cactus in your view, you may need to unpack the long underwear.

If the Big Show wasn't going on, you wouldn’t see empty space like this at the VFW boondocking area. I think the place is less than half full now.

This is another part of the VFW boondocking area; it’s actually a bigger area than it looks like at first glance.

Finally, a few clouds were in the sky. The whole time I’ve been at the VFW boondocking area I haven’t seen a cloud, but last night, just before sundown, it clouded up….but the clouds were gone when I woke up this morning, back to cloudless blue skies.
