fall in the neighborhood

I'm happy to report that everybody that was feeling under the weather for the last couple days are now feeling much better and quickly returning to normal.

It also looks like the weather has now returned to the great Fall weather we have come to expect, and the long-range forecast has 10 days of 70s for highs and 40s for lows with humidities in the teens. It just doesn't get any better than that. So if the weather guessers have it right it looks like I won't have to worry about being snowed on before I head South, and sometime around the end of this month I'll be able to leave whenever I feel like it without having to worry about getting snowed in.

The problem is with the weather being as nice as it is it makes it difficult to drive away and leave such beautiful weather, I kinda wish it would get cold and miserable so I wouldn't feel so bad about leaving this Fall weather behind.

I'm getting used to the new blog but it does do weird things sometimes. Sometimes a picture will end up in the wrong place and I'm not sure if it's me or the software. And every once in a while the software will publish a blog post that I'm still working on when I got the new blog post set as a draft so nobody can see it while I'm working on it, and again I don't know if I caused that or there's a glitch in the system. I usually feel that if something is glitching it's probably me and I need to pay more attention to what I'm doing.

I've been working in the Arctic Fox so I had the slides out, but today I put the slides in since I can't leave them out during the winter for fear they would be damaged by the ice and snow. So one of these days before I leave I need to take the battery out of the Fox and put it somewhere that is warm so it won't freeze and break during the winter.

The trees in the neighborhood are finally getting serious about changing.

I don’t know if they’re at their peak yet, but they are really pretty… Yet one more thing I love about the Fall

The hills in the background have already experienced Fall, and due to their increased altitude, nary a leaf is left on their trees.
