Saving the world.

I did nothing of note today. I figured I would rest up, catch up on some relaxing, and think about doing something tomorrow. It's not that I WILL do anything tomorrow, but I'm fully committed to thinking about it.

If I had absolutely no intention of doing anything interesting tomorrow, I would probably say I'm CONSIDERING doing something interesting tomorrow, which would give me an easy way out when I end up doing nothing whatsoever. But when I commit in writing that I'm fully on board with thinking about it, there's a 99% chance I won't do anything, interesting or otherwise. Still, there's an infinitesimal chance that doing something may briefly cross my mind.

Now, a few folks may consider doing nothing a sure sign of laziness, and I would have to agree because I’m too lazy to dispute it. But what's so bad about being lazy? I consider my laziness one of my finest attributes, which should give you a clue as to how frightening my other attributes must be.

1… Being lazy, among other things, prevents me from taking jobs away from those who need them, allowing them to pay more taxes so the government will have gazillions of more dollars to fight global warming.

2… Being lazy saves me money because I don't have a desire to do anything that costs money, especially things that contribute to global warming.

3… Lazy is environmentally friendly. I'm too lazy to do laundry, which saves a tremendous amount of water and reduces global climate change.

4… If I weren't as lazy as I am, I would probably drive around doing more interesting things. But that would involve burning fossil fuels, and I could never forgive myself for my contribution to global warming and global climate change.…. Although it does appear that most of the country could use some global warming right now so maybe I should do some laundry.

5… If I weren't so lazy, I might be outside getting some exercise, which would cause heavy breathing on my part and probably lead to the possibility of a global oxygen shortage.

So, it’s apparent that any fair-minded person can obviously see that I am alone in saving the earth from certain and complete destruction. The world governments spend trillions of dollars a year fighting global climate disasters, but have you ever heard of even one government saying they've lowered the sea levels? Or just one country bragging about how they've reduced the global temperature? Are giant countries like China or tiny countries like Liechtenstein having any positive effects whatsoever on the climate... The answer is an emphatic NO! And yet, here I am, traveling the country and saving the world just by being lazy.... You're welcome!

The Arizona trust lands I’m boondocked at is fairly large, probably a couple of hundred acres, and I’m boondocked in one corner of it off to myself.

Sunrise on Arizona trust lands. At this time of the morning, it’s about 50° outside; after all, it is the desert, so that’s to be expected.

Like I’ve said before, when I’m boondocking, I don’t leave the heat on at night when I go to bed. So it’s pretty chilly in the camper when I wake up. But the lance is tiny, and it has a really powerful factory furnace, so it heats up the camper in five or ten minutes at the most.

After the sun gets up, it will warm up to about 75 or 80° today, so most of the day will be perfectly comfortable.

Vulture Peak, at 3700 feet, is the tallest mountain in this area. The Vulture gold mine, which, by the way, is still producing gold, is just down the road. And oddly enough, the road that I take into town is named Vulture Mine Road.

I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve yet to see a single Vulture.
