A test video
Since I received some positive comments about making brief videos of my new locations whenever I move, I decided to give it a try.
The video I made is just a test to see how it works out, so I'm not at a new location, its where I've been for a while, I just wanted to see how long it would take, and how difficult it would be for me to make a roughly 30 second video keeping it as simple as possible by doing as few things as I can get away with and still make it watchable.
I quickly figured out that one of the things I can do to keep the video simple is to make as few clips as possible and not walk with a camera in my hand. No matter how hard I try, the camera bounces when I'm walking, and it takes a lot of editing to remove some of the camera movement. So the simplest way to fix that is not to walk while I'm filming.
I originally created this test video without any sound, except for ambient noise, which was mostly comprised of very annoying wind noise. That didn't work at all, so I deleted all the sound from the video, which made the video seem lifeless, which I also didn't like. As a last resort, I added some music to liven up the video a bit, which was a quick and easy process.
I'll try and make these brief videos a regular part of my travels since they don't seem so difficult to do that my laziness and procrastination would kick in, and remember this is just a test; they can be shorter, they can be longer, or they can disappear entirely, but hopefully someone will get some use out of them.

TEST VIDEO
The video looks better when played on a full screen. I don’t know if adding this video will affect my blog's downloading speed. If the blog loads too slowly, let me know, and I’ll try to fix it.
If it causes too many problems, I’ll put this kind of video in the video section of my blog instead of this part, which is normally images.
Ore carts. These carts were used to bring ore out of a tunnel, which the miners called an Adit. They could be moved by hand, a donkey, or a machine if they had enough money.
