A blog post about nothing
Not much going on today. I’m mostly relaxing and thinking. Of course, I can't think too much, or it tires me out, and then I have to rest some more. Not to mention, thinking too much may cause me to have a good idea that would make my blog more interesting, which would attract more readers. But if I had more readers than the six or eight I have now, that would put me under a lot of pressure to do better than I'm capable of.
Fortunately, I know my limitations, and I also know my foibles, fantasies, and infractions. Actually, I don't know my infractions all that well. I barely understood basic math, and infractions always gave me problems. But that's neither here nor there, so I'm unsure why I mentioned it.
Come to think of it, I do know why I mentioned it, and it's because I didn't have anything to write about today since I barely left the camper the entire day, so I'm trying to think of something to write as I'm writing it. But as we all know, two wrongs don't make a write, and trying to find something to write about isn't wrong... Or is it?
Blogging is a lot easier when interesting thoughts pour from my brain into the microphone I'm wearing and magically appear on the computer screen as they have for the last 10 years. Has it really been 10 years? The time has flown by, indicating that I must be having fun.
I wonder what my life would've been like if I had started blogging when I got my first real RV in the early 90s. It was a little Hallmark pop-up truck camper, and I went everywhere in that thing. Before that, I had a Ford Econoline van that I fixed up, but it was only good for hauling motorcycles and camping on a long weekend at best.
But blogging would've been very difficult since I didn't own a computer and couldn't imagine why anybody did. And now, all these years later, I can't imagine my life without a computer. I guess that's a clue as to how boring my life is when the best I can do with a computer is write a blog about nothing.
