more snow on the way!
The weather was pretty nice today. It got up to the mid-50s. Of course, the 25° nighttime temperatures were no fun, but I've seen a lot worse.
Tonight, it's supposed to start snowing again, and tomorrow's high is forecast to be in the low 30s. But glory be, it still looks okay for leaving Saturday morning, even though we were supposed to get some snow on Friday.
Since I'm planning on trying to put a few more videos on my blog, I bought a gadget that holds my cell phone and keeps it steady while I walk. I believe in the movies, it's called a "steady cam." Since I've usually got my phone with me, I figured I would have more chances of making brief videos if I could use my cell phone instead of a real camera, which I don't normally have with me unless I'm going out to take pictures.
I stand a much better chance of making a few videos if I can make it as simple on myself as possible, and I need to put as little effort into it as possible. I enjoy taking pictures, but I don't necessarily enjoy making videos. They're more difficult to film and require a lot more knowledge of the software to build a video on the computer. And worst of all, I've never felt I have any talent to do it. I can look at one of my pictures now and then and think to myself that it looks pretty good, but I don't ever remember feeling that way about a video I've made.
But there are some things I experience in my travels that a single image can't capture, so I'm hoping a video every now and then will bring a little life to my blog.
