Today, the high temperature barely managed to struggle into the low 50s. And since it was cloudy and rainy, the humidity was high, which made the fair to middling 50s feel more like the frigid 40s. And tomorrow is supposed to be just as bad. But what can you do? Fall will soon take a final bow and exit stage left while old man Winter waits in the wings to dust the snow out of his beard... And hopefully, I won't be near a snowy area when that happens. And it looks like once I get over this weekend, next week, it will appear to be all 70s.
We still haven't heard from the coaches on whether the grandkids will play in their respective final sports tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be rainy and pretty chilly, and apparently, the coaches are concerned about the soft and wet conditions of the playing fields. There is a concern that the grassy fields may be easier to tear up with the cleats the kids wear.
I wanted to go and watch the kids play their final game on Saturday, but I was more concerned about the cold, wet weather and its effect on me than I was about the field being torn up. Having my camera subjected to rainy weather is also not high on my list of things I enjoy.

Some of the Halloween decorations in my family’s front yard.
A neighbor’s house. Some folks go to a lot of expense and trouble to decorate for Halloween.
A giant skeleton at a neighbor’s house. This thing must be 10 feet tall.
